Community

At GroBikes, we believe in the power of community and collaboration. Over the years, we've been fortunate to meet a variety of businesses, events, and organizations, that share our passion for cycling, sustainability, and active living. This page is dedicated to recognizing these wonderful friends who have supported and helped us grow.

Twin Wheels provides personalized one-on-one lessons for essentially anything on wheels, including bikes! From GroBikes' own experience, we know what a difference focused instruction can make, so we really like Twin Wheels' approach.

Events

EcoFair Toronto

Held every November at the Wychwood Barns, EcoFair Toronto is a one-day showcase that celebrates the wonderful people, environmental groups, and eco-businesses that are helping to create a greener and healthier planet for all. GroBikes has participated for many years and we always love the feeling of community and connection we get, not to mention learning about so many other sustainability-focused initiatives in Toronto.

KITCAN Kids In Triathlon Series

The KITCan Series is a non-competitive race series for kids aged 3-11, providing a supportive, family-friendly environment that celebrates individual achievement through triathlon. GroBikes has had a booth at some of these races and the smiles on the faces of the kids are priceless.

OpenStreetsTO

OpenStreetsTO is a free program that supports recreation, healthy living and community engagement in the heart of Toronto on Bloor and Yonge. We participated in this event for a few years and really hope it can get the funding it needs to relaunch.

Toronto Triathlon Festival

"Rush Hour Redefined" A triathlon in the heart of Toronto, taking over the Gardiner and Don Valley Parkway? Awesome. We've been privileged to be part of this well-organised event for many years and can't say enough good things about it.

Organizations

Circular Economy Leadership Canada

CELC is dedicated to filling existing gaps in the market place and supporting efforts to accelerate the transition to a circular economy in Canada. GroBikes is a proud member of this group that is doing so much to advance the transition to a thriving circular economy.

The Stop Community Food Centre

The Stop is a community organization that strives to increase access to healthy food in a manner that maintains dignity, builds health and community, and challenges inequality. Early on, they allowed GroBikes to have a stand at their Wychwood Barns farmers market, for which we are still grateful.
